What we keep, what we don't.
Last updated · May 4, 2026
What we collect
When you sign up for public-beta updates, we store: your email address, a salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address (we never see or store the raw IP), your browser user-agent string, and the HTTP referrer that brought you to the form.
Why
To email you about the public beta as it evolves: new boardview formats, new device packs, major releases.
What we don't collect
No cookies. No analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no Meta Pixel). No tracking pixels. No fingerprinting. No advertising identifiers. The only client-side storage is one localStorage entry caching the public GitHub star count for 30 minutes, it contains no personal data and you can clear it any time from your browser settings.
Where it lives
Records are stored in a self-hosted SQLite database on a VPS located in the European Union. The infrastructure is open-source, you can read the schema and the server code at github.com/Junkz3/wrench-board-landing.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove your record, or until you unsubscribe.

Cloudflare, proxies all traffic at the edge and keeps short request logs for abuse protection.
